On March 17-18, 2018, Officers from the Kansas Highway Patrol and the Haskell County Sheriff’s Department will be cooperating in an effort to locate intoxicated drivers. Checkpoints operated by officers from these departments may be set up randomly at various locations in Haskell County. Confirmed impaired drivers will be arrested.
Efforts will be made not to severely interrupt traffic flow; citizens’ patience and cooperation will assist this important effort.
The goal of the program is to increase overall motorist safety.
