Brock Kappelmann - October 5, 2017 12:30 pm

Garden City took WAC team honors with 14 points followed by Hays with 9 points and Dodge City with 8.  Liberal finished with 2 team points off the racquet of Senior Valery Esqueda.  Esqueda had impressive wins over Hays and Great Bend to secure a third place medal.  At #2 Singles–Rebecca Irby went 0-4 on the day but lost two matches that could have gone either way.  #1 Doubles–Jadyn Williams and Mariyvette Aguilar finished 0-4, but the games were close, and they competed hard.  #2 Doubles–Pricilla Vasquez and Cynthia Amaro went 0-4 but gained valuable experience that will help them at Regionals.  The Lady Skins travel to Godedard for Regional play on Saturday.
