Jayhawk League Looks Forward to ‘18

2017 Jayhawk League Meeting highlights:
▪️Round robin schedule. Each team plays 3 home/away games against other teams. (36 games).
▪️ 7 League teams: Liberal, Hays, El Dorado, Derby, Dodge City, Haysville, Great Bend.
▪️ Oklahoma City Indians will play all Jayhawk teams as away games for them, but are not an official Jayhawk League member for 2018. Games at OKC can also be scheduled if a League team so desires. These games will not count as League games. Membership for 2019 will be decided after 2018 season.
▪️NBC Tournament is July 27-August 11 with First Week and Championship Week; same pool play format.
▪️Jayhawk League Commissioner Phil Stephenson has resigned and the League will search for a new commissioner.
▪️Some rule revisions, especially on handling games affected by inclement weather/lightening/mechanical problems (like lighting failure).
