LHS Girls Win Scott City Tennis Tournament

The Lady Skins took first place as a team at the Scott City Invitational
Tennis Tournament on Monday. Competing teams included Scott City, Ulysses,
Russell, and Tribune. Liberal finished with 24 team points followed by
Tribune with 22, and Scott City with 19.

Individual Results:

#1 Singles–Valery Esqueda went 3-1 taking 2nd Place

#2 Singles–Rebecca Irby went 4-0 finishing in 1st Place

#1 Doubles–Jadyn Williams & Mariyvette Williams went 0-4

#2 Doubles–Johaly Portillo & Cynthia Amaro went 4-0 finishing 1st Place

Liberal hosts a home JV tournament tomorrow and travels to Garden City on
Saturday.
