LHS Hosts Homecoming Friday

Liberal’s homecoming is Friday.  The Redskins host Hays for the homecoming football game Friday night at 7 at the Gary Cornelsen Sports Complex.  The homecoming parade will be at 2:30 Friday in downtown Liberal.  The homecoming ceremony will be during halftime of the football game. There will be a chili supper from 5-7:30 in the LHS cafeteria for the Redline Dance Team.  The queen candidates are Ruth Nunez, Bailie Garcia, McKenzie Crossman, Corey Mein, and Sarai Borunda.  The king candidates are Brian Martinez, Javier Mendoza, Jesse Alvarado, Cameron Riley, and Julian Avila.

USD 480 schools will dismiss early on Friday, September 15th for the Liberal High School homecoming activities. NO classes for afternoon (PM) Preschool at Bright Start.

Fall Homecoming Schedule—September 15, 2017

1:15pm: LHS, Eisenhower, Seymour Rogers dismiss

1:30pm: MacArthur, Meadowlark, Prairie View, Cottonwood, and Sunflower dismiss – NO AFTERNOON PreK @ Bright Start

2:30pm: Parade Begins (the parade will start and Light Park; travel south on Kansas Avenue, and end at the intersection of Kansas Ave and Trail St).
