Bee Jays Tie the Heat

The Liberal Bee Jays and Wellington Heat tied a nine inning game 8-8 at Hibbs-Hooten Field in Wellington Tuesday night. The Bee Jays used eight pitchers and 15 position players in the game.
The two teams were scoreless until the third when both teams scored single runs. Wellington scored two in the fourth before Liberal scored a fifth inning run to make it 3-2 Wellington. The Heat put up four in the sixth. The B.J.’s took and 8-7 lead after scoring three in the seventh and three in the eighth. Wellington scored a run in the ninth to tie it.
Colton Onstott and former Dodge City Athletic Josh Crosby had two hits a piece. Here is the pitching breakdown. Zach Autin pitched 2 innings, Cody Wernli 2 innings, Jaron Robinson 1 inning, Derek Craft 1 inning, Tyler Tognarine 1 inning, Thomas Garland 2/3, Colin O’Donnell 1/3, and Trent Maloney 1/3.
