Reyna Gonzalez is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior goalkeeper Reyna Gonzalez is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Reyna and the LHS defense have combined for a school record seven shutouts this season. LHS has produced four consecutive shutouts including a 2-0 playoff opening win over Goddard Monday night in Goddard. The 8-8-1 Lady Redskins face 15-2 Bishop Carroll Friday at 2 at Carroll Field in Wichita. The game was moved to Friday due to the forecast of severe weather in Wichita on Thursday. Gonzalez also played volleyball and basketball for LHS. She will play soccer at Barton.
