Liberal Splits to Open Softball Season

Liberal split their season opening softball double header with the Scott City Beavers Friday in Liberal.  LHS won the first game and Scott took game two 13-3 in five innings Friday evening at the National Beef Family Sports Complex.  LHS won the first game when Lacin Lanning tripled home Kaeleah Chaloupek.   Liberal opens play in the Western Athletic Conference Tuesday at Great Bend.
