Another Week, Another Jayhawk Pitcher of the Week For Ashley

For the third straight week, Seward County freshman Monique Ashley has been named the Jayhawk West Pitcher of the Week in a league release Monday afternoon.
Ashley improved to 19-2 on the year on Monday, spinning a five hit shutout in a win over Garden City. In the victory she struck out seven to run her Jayhawk Conference leading total to 148 on the year.
Ashley will lead the Lady Saints into battle against #1 ranked Butler, weather permitting, Wednesday afternoon at Lady Saints Field in Liberal.
