Arkalon Park Announces Spring Clean-Up Days

The Arkalon Council announces they will have a Spring Cleanup of the Arkalon Park during the weekend of March 18 and 19 in advance of the Park’s opening on April 1st. Board members would welcome and appreciate any groups or individuals interested in volunteering their time to come out to the Park to perform a variety of tasks ranging from painting, repairs, general cleanup and picking up tree limbs and debris from the campground and trails.

During this weekend, you are invited to cut, load and haul all the firewood you want from the downed trees in the campground. Bring your safety gear and equipment to cut the firewood.

The gate to the Arkalon Park will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19. Bring your gloves, lunch and beverage. No fishing will be allowed during the weekend! Your assistance would be appreciated.
