Lady Skins 2-0 in WAC After Home Win

Liberal made 20 of 30 free throws against a physical Garden City team Tuesday night in the Big House.  LHS is 2-0 in the WAC after a 56-36 win over the visiting Lady Buffaloes.

Liberal led 10-9 after one and led 25-16 at the half.  The Lady Redskins led 42-25 after three quarters.  Liberal’s M&M girls had solid nights again.  Machia Mullens scored 15 and Jada Mickens scored 12 in the win.  Laci Rush added a career high nine one game after scoring a career high seven.

The Lady Redskins are 7-1 and 2-0 in the WAC as Garden City falls to 3-6 and 0-2.  Liberal plays at Dodge City Friday night at 6 with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
