The Liberal City Commission met Tuesday evening for their regularly scheduled meeting.
Among the items on the agenda, the Commission approved the final plat for the Purdue Street housing development as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Board.
Commissioners also approved a purchase request from the Code Enforcement Department for a 1/2 ton pickup. Low bidder was Chrysler Corner of Liberal in the amount of $19,552.
The Commission also approved the purchase SRT Body Armor and Communication Headsets in the amount of $9,749.50 for 2017 and again in 2017. By purchasing these at this time and in bulk, the City saved $3,349.60.
