An Oklahoma teen was killed in a car accident after a driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer.

Around 3:15 p.m. on Oct. 18, Cody Hensley, 18, was driving in Turpin, Okla. when he swerved to miss a deer.

Hensley’s vehicle ended up rolling two and a half times before landing on its top.

His passenger, Ruth Hensley, 17,-was ejected from the vehicle.

Both victims were transported to Southwest Medical Center.

Cody Hensley was treated and released, the accident report states.

Ruth Hensley was pronounced dead at the hospital. According to a family member, she was pregnant at the time of her death.
