UPDATE: Service Restored. No Phone Service To Some Liberal Schools

UPDATE: Internet and phone device has now been restored to USD 480 schools affected by the fiber issue.

USD 480 reports that SWKO has been working since 3:30pm yesterday afternoon and overnight to
repair a cut fiber on the south end of town; unfortunately, at this time
the internet and phones are not working at the following schools: South
Middle School, Sunflower Intermediate, Southlawn Elementary, Prairie View
Elementary, and Garfield Elementary. The issue is not with USD 480
technology and all the district can do is wait patiently for the repairs to be
completed. If you need immediate assistance for one of these schools,
please contact Central Office at 604-1010.
