Meade’s Moshier Approaches Record in Year 11

Brock Kappelmann - August 22, 2016 2:38 pm

Meade football coach Scott Moshier has won half of Meade’s state titles in 2010 and 2012.  Entering year 11 at Meade, the coach has resurrected a stagnant program into a consistent 2A powerhouse.  And with that consistency, comes milestones.  Moshier is 99-17 while the school record is 103 wins.  But it will be an interesting season for the Buffaloes who have a senior class of nine out for football but only 32 total.  That is way down from the nearly 50 the Buffaloes have been gathering in the sport.  The Buffaloes were 10-1 last season with their only loss coming to eventual state champ Phillipsburg (26-21).  The Meade seniors are RG/NG Riley Hanks, OT/De Christian Ramirez, FB/OLB Blake Keith, TE/LB Logan Meyers, QB/CB Austin Luetters, C Cooper Elliott, T/T Nate Vanderpool, WG/S Kale McCulloch, and OT/NG Ashley Harp.  Other key Buffs are Jr. blocking back/MLB Caden Godfrey, Jr. WR/LB Aiden Miller, Jr. DB Blaise Saucedo, and Jr. UTL Devon Waters.  Meade has an interesting opener at Hooker.  The Buffaloes were featured during the Monday Sportsguys.
