Hooker Looks to Build Off 8-4 Season

Brock Kappelmann - August 15, 2016 1:33 pm

The Hooker Bulldogs got a taste of it last fall.  Hooker won a playoff game over Carnegie before bowing to eventual state champ Stratford  in the second round of the Class A playoffs.  Hooker went 8-4 and there is plenty of momentum carrying into 2016 for third year head coach Bill Patterson and his Bulldogs.  Hooker won the 2A state track title in the spring and returns seven starters on offense and eight on defense from that team.  Hooker is experienced up front with youth on the edge including sophomore quarterback Donovan Yarbrough.  Key Bulldogs include Sr. TE/CB Hutton Parsons, Sr. C/DT Robbie Wardlaw, Sr. T/T Colton Powell, Jr. WR/CB Isiah Vargas, and Jr. QB/WR/S Dawson Metcalf.  Hooker was featured during the Sportsguys Monday morning.
