Thomas Franklin “Frank” Boles

Thomas Franklin “Frank” Boles, age 56, passed away gracefully due to complications from pneumonia in Boulder, Colorado on Tuesday morning, March 13, 2012. He was born in Liberal, Kansas in 1956. He was the son of Thomas F. Boles, Sr. and Elva “A” (Beck) Boles. Frank attended Liberal schools and graduated from high school in Scottsdale, AZ. Frank was active in the Boy Scouts of America and was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout. He received his associate’s degree from Garden City Community College. After returning to Liberal he was employed at Boles Financial Center. Frank was an outstanding community volunteer and provided valuable services to the Humane Society of Seward County, March of Dimes, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. He was also a member of the Liberal Noon Lions Club of Liberal. Frank attended the First Presbyterian Church. Frank was a gentle soul who had a love of horses, dogs and all animals. Frank was well known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He was also known for his compassion and was an inspiration for many. In 2005, Frank moved to Boulder, CO to be closer to his brother, Grady. Frank was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his brother Grady William Boles (Anne-Marie), nephew Camden Franklin Boles, cousin Jane Heidel, and cousin Kay Alley.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday March 17, 2012 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel, Liberal, KS with Pastor Stephen B. Saville presiding. Following the funeral service there will be a reception for those who would like to attend at the Liberal Country Club.

Burial will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Liberal Cemetery.

Visitation time will be from 10:00 am until service time on Saturday at Brenneman Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends.
