Judith Louise Curry age 64, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Satanta District Hospital , Satanta , KS .
She was born on January 22, 1947 at Liberal, KS , the daughter of Lloyd Wayne and Dorothy Ann (Dimick) Sillin. She was a 1965 graduate of Liberal High School . She was a lifetime resident of Liberal.
On January 19, 1964 , she married Jay Ewalt at Liberal, KS. On July 26, 1985 , she married Roger Curry at Perryton , TX .
She worked as a certified Dietary Manager at Liberal Good Samaritan Center for 18 years before retiring. She enjoyed knitting, spending time with her grandchildren and she loved her cats. She was well known for her cooking.
She is survived by
1 Son – Chris Ewalt and wife Michelle of Liberal, KS.
1 Daughter – Jamye L. Applebee and husband Gordon of Liberal, KS.
1 Brother – Greg Sillin of Liberal, Ks.
1 Sister – Lisa Hasty of Wichita , KS .
5 Grandchildren – Austin and Andrew Applebee, Seth and Arron Hardin and Harley Ewalt.
Preceded in death by her parents and 1 Sister- Carol Arthurs.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dee Estes and Judy Barnes. A private family burial will be in Liberal Cemetery .
Visitation will be 1 – 8 pm Thursday and 9 am until service, with the family present to receive friends on Thursday from 6:30 – 8 pm at Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd., Liberal , KS 67901 .
