Nice Named Region Rookie of the Year

Seward County freshman Ondrej Nice was honored by the ITA on Tuesday as he was named the ITA Region III Rookie of the Year.

Nice, who is currently ranked #26 in singles and #18 in doubles in the country plays at the #3 singles and #2 doubles slot for the Saints. Nice has racked up a 17-7 singles record this season while pairing up with Felipe Casares and Carlos Anez for a 19-3 record in doubles action. His 36 wins overall on the year are second on the team while his 19 wins in doubles play leads Seward.

Nice will look to add to his win total today at the NJCAA National Tournament as he sees second round action in both singles and doubles on Tuesday.
