Seward County Lady Saints Head Coach Thais Allen is happy to welcome a new assistant coach to the bench in 2016 as six year pro Darshaya Gallard joins the Seward County family.

Gallard comes to Seward County after spending the 2015 season on the East side of the Jayhawk Conference with the Cowley Tigers as an assistant. Cowley won 26 games under Gallard’s watchful eye last season, winning the District N Championship to advance to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament where they won a pair of games to finish 6th.

Before joining the Tigers staff in 2015, Gallard played professionally in Europe for six seasons, splitting time between France, Germany, Sweden, and Turkey.

As a collegiate, Gallard began her career at Jayhawk Conference rival Barton County where she played one season for the Cougars before moving on to Fort Hays State where she was an All-Conference performer for the Tigers.

She is a licensed social worker and is currently working on her Master’s in Social Work.
