Ali Lucero is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal sophomore guard Ali Lucero is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Lucero pumped in a season high 19 points in Liberal’s 44-41 win over Garden City in the Big House Tuesday night. She is averaging nine points per game for the 11-8 Lady Redskins. Lucero has a team leading 24 three pointers. She also runs cross country. Lucero scored nine a game as a freshman for LHS last season as well. Liberal plays at 14-5 Dodge City Thursday night at 6 with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
