Saints Dominate Dodge City in Home Opener

The Seward volleyball team looked ready to play at home. Seward made quick work of Dodge City in a match which lasted about an hour. Seward beat the Conqs (25-16, 25-9, 25-17) in the Green House Thursday night. Alex Wood had 12 kills and 12 digs to lead Seward. Megan Sharratt added seven kills. Jade Piper had 18 assists as Seward hit .316. Seward is 5-6 and 2-1 in the Jayhawk West while Dodge City is 2-11 and 0-4 in the conference. Liberal’s Katie Garcia played for DC3. Seward hosts Garden City Monday night at 6:30 in the Green House.
