Hooker has High Hopes for 2015
KSCB News - August 14, 2015 7:13 am
A full year makes a difference. That’s the belief in Hooker this summer. Bill Patterson begins his second season as head coach of the Class A Bulldogs but has spent a full offseason with the Dogs in a program which brings back a wealth of talent and experience. The Bulldogs have 42 out for football and nine starters back on both sides of the ball from last year’s 4-6 team.
Some key Bulldogs returning include Sr. QB/LB Dayton Metcalf who passed for over 1,500 yards last year. They also return Sr. WR/DE Jayden Valles, Sr. OL/LB Jesus Garcia, and Jr. TE/LB Hutton Parsons. The Bulldogs averaged 350 yards per game last year but Patterson says there is plenty of room for improvement.
The Bulldogs are featured during the Friday Sportsguys between 7:37 and 9 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
