Edwin Sobalvarro Signs at Friends

Liberal’s Edwin Sobalvarro signed Wednesday. The star hurdler inked with Friends during a signing ceremony at Redskin Field in front of his state bound track team and coaches before practice Wednesday afternoon. Sobalvarro won the regional meet in the 300 hurdles and combined to win the regional on the 4×400 relay team which has won every race this season. Sobalvarro was runner up by an eyelash in the 110 hurdles at the regional in Liberal but won the WAC title in all three events the week before. Coach Damian Smithhisler made it to Liberal from Wichita for the signing and says Sobalvarro’s times would already make him one of the top hurdlers in the KCAC and NAIA.
