Andover Central Sheds Liberal’s Upset Bid

Liberal finished their girls soccer season with a competitive 3-1 loss to Andover Central in Andover Tuesday. Andover Central scored at the five minute mark and led 1-0 at the half. They scored early in the second half at the 39:35 mark before Liberal’s Carolina Limon scored at the 15:07 mark to make it 2-1. But the Jaguars pulled away with a goal at the 10:42 mark to make it 3-1. Liberal had five shots on goal and Reyna Gonzalez had nine saves. Andover Central is 11-5-1. Liberal finishes 5-11-1 after losing their final five games.
