Nacole Miller Inks with Concordia

One of the top statistical setters in Lady Saints Volleyball history signed to continue her playing career on Wednesday as sophomore Nacole Miller signed on the dotted line to Concordia University-Texas in Austin.

Miller racked up 1,826 assists in her two seasons with the Lady Saints, graduating Seward County on Saturday ranked 5th in school history in that category. She led the Lady Saints with 757 assists as a sophomore this season and also had 309 digs which ranked 4th on the team. Miller finished 5th in the Jayhawk West in assists during her second season with the Lady Saints, playing in 39 of Seward’s 42 matches as a sophomore. She reached double digits in assists in 34 of 39 matches played in 2014 including 27 of the Lady Saints final 28 matches of the year. She had 20 or more assists in a match 20 times in 2014 and dished out a season high 34 helpers late in the season against top five ranked Illinois Central. Miller had 14 double-doubles as a sophomore, finishing her career with a bang with six straight at the end of the 2014 season. Miller will join a Concordia squad coming off of a 14-14 season in 2014 which included a 9-7 mark in American Southwest Conference play. Miller will bring a veteran presence to the Concordia lineup in 2015, as the Tornados dressed nine freshman on their roster this year. Of making her decision on playing for Concordia Miller said "Concordia is a place where I feel like I will have the opportunity to step in and make a positive impact on the team right away. Austin is a great college town and I am really looking forward to being able to represent the program on and off the court next season." When asked about her time at Seward Miller said "our team came into the season a really tight knit group and we ended it the same way. I feel like if you come out of a long, hard season and still love each other the way that we do, you can count the season as a success. I made friendships here at Seward that I will have for the rest of my life."
