Buchanon Wins WAC Number 2 Singles Title

The Redskin Tennis Team finished tied for 3rd Place with 7 points. Garden City took top honors with 13 points followed by Dodge City with 9 points, Great Bend and Liberal had 7 points and Hays finished
with 6 points.

Individual Results:

#1 Singles–Mitchell Irby had an uncharacteristically bad day losing close matches he usually wins. He went 0-4 on the day.

#2 Singles–Buddy Buchanan did his job going 4-0 on the day finishing 1st Place.

#1 Doubles–Nano Hernandez & Johnny Tran went 0-4 on the day.

#2 Doubles–Sergio Borjas & Jose Ortega went 3-1 on the day finishing 2nd Place.

The Redskins travel to Newton for Regionals on Saturday.
