Guymon Wins LHS Golf Invite

Guymon won Liberal’s golf invitational on a blustery but sunny Thursday afternoon at Willow Tree. Guymon shot a 319 while Liberal had 347, and Hugoton had 431. Guymon’s Connor Kauffman won the event with a 73 while Guymon’s Mason La Grange had a 74 for second. Liberal’s Garrett Poulton shot an 82 for third while Liberal freshman Cameron Riley was fourth with an 83 in his first varsity event. Guymon’s Chandler Evans was fifth with an 84. Liberal freshman Sean Titus took sixth with an 85. Liberal’s Caleb Brond was ninth and Liberal’s Clint Peterson was 10th. Liberal competes at Garden City Saturday.
