Guymon Girls Take Down Liberal

Liberal shot 4-25 from three point range in a 48-38 loss at Guymon Tuesday night. The 3-0 Lady Tigers led 11-9 after one quarter and led 25-13 before LHS went on an 8-0 run for a 25-21 Guymon lead at the half. The game was tied at 31 with 1:30 remaining in the third before Guymon took a lead 34-31 at the end of three. Guymon extended that lead to 11 (44-33) with 5:14 to play.

Guymon’s Brooke Arledge scored 17 and Jazmin Nash scored 11. Liberal’s Ali Lucero dropped in 10 to lead 0-2 Liberal. The Lady Tigers have won three of the last five against LHS. Liberal hosts Hereford Friday night at 6 with Redskin Pre-game at 5:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net.
