Liberal senior goalie Jose Alonso is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Alonso recorded 11 saves in Liberal’s 2-1 win at Garden City on Tuesday. Alonso has helped the Redskins to an 8-1-1 record overall and 4-1 in the WAC going into Thursday’s WAC game at Hays at 1 p.m.
