Jacob McCarter is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior defender Jacob McCarter is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. McCarter saved a goal as he was one on three against Emporia Saturday in the championship game of the Wichita South Titan Classic. McCarter and the LHS defense have allowed just one goal in three games for the 3-0 Redskins. LHS opens WAC play at Great Bend Thursday night. Liberal was 4-4 in the WAC last year. McCarter also is a member of NHS and Standout.
