A Makeover in Meade
KSCB News - August 27, 2014 1:51 pm
Meade is in an unfamiliar situation. After the dust has settled on a 10-2 season last year and a state championship season the year before, the Buffaloes have just one starter back on both sides of the ball. Ninth year head coach Scott Moshier is 81-14 at Meade but rarely has Meade returned such little experience. But Moshier says he is encouraged by what he has seen this summer and into practice. The numbers are also strong at the 2A school with 42 out for football including 10 seniors and 13 juniors. Meade has the best JV program in the area and many of this year’s Meade players mopped up many of Meade’s blowouts last year.
Some of the key Buffs are Jr. OL/LB Cash Larrabee, Sr. RB/DB Nick Finke, Sr. RB/DB Ryan Friesen, Sr. FB/DL Dylan Wondra, So. RB/DB Logan Meyers, Jr. TE/DL Tristin Lewis-Dierking (6’7" 225), Sr. OL/DL Chance West, and Sr. TE/DL Sean Terhune.
Meade was featured during the Wednesday Sportsguys.
