KSCB News - August 21, 2014 1:29 pm
After an 0-10 season and a six year stretch of going 5-55, Guymon has re-tooled their coaching staff. Mike Taylor returns as head coach for his second season but brings in a new assistant coaching staff. John Richmond will run the offense with a pro gun offense and Guymon native Cale Fischer will coach will coach the defense.
Taylor has 72 players out for football at the 5A school. Only eight are seniors. The real strength seems to be the sophomore class where there are 45 players. Cox hopes to use only about five or six guys on both offense and defense. Some of the key Tigers are So. QB Jacob Watson, Sr. S JEsse Carpenter, Jr. WR Bailey Homan, Sr. LB Austin Hein, Jr. OG Lane Martinez, and So. C Cody Alexander.
The Tigers were featured during the Thursday morning Sportsguys.
