Two Redskin Baseball Players Make All WAC Team

Two Liberal baseball players were named first team all Western Athletic Conference.

Sophomore shortstop Jared Hasik is first team all WAC for the second straight season. Hasik hit .390 with 11 RBI’s, eight doubles, two triples, and 20 runs. On the mound he was 3-3 with a 2.19 ERA with 40 strikeouts, 21 walks, and 36.1 innings.

Senior Collin Ware was all WAC. He was 4-3 with a 2.26 ERA. He had 28 strikeouts and 18 walks. Ware pitched a complete game two weeks ago as Liberal beat Great Bend 7-1 to win their first playoff game in eight years.

The Redskins were 12-10 and 3-5 in the WAC.
