As president, Roderick will head the organization and set agendas for annual meetings, represent the NJCAA at athletic events and championships and serve as the lead board member. The NJCAA is headquartered in Colorado Springs where an executive director and staff run day-to-day operations.

While serving as president of the NJCAA, Roderick will also maintain his current committee assignments, which included being chair of the championship events committee, co chair of the finance and budget committee, and member of the strategic planning committee.

Roderick served 12 years as the assistant athletic director at Garden City Community College before he began his stint with the KJCCC, and was named a member of the Kansas Collegiate Officials Hall of Fame in 2013.
