Plainville Prevails Over Meade

After finishing as the state runner up the past two years, Meade loses in the first round of state this year. Plainville, making their first state appearance in 20 years, beat the Buffaloes 46-41 Thursday night in Manhattan. Morgan Davis scored 16 in the loss as the Buffs finish 20-4. The 20-4 Meade girls play 24-0 Claflin Friday at 3 in the semifinals of 2A at Bramlage Coliseum at Kansas State University.
