Trenton Hammond is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior Trenton Hammond is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Hammond won three gold medals in Winfield last week winning the 110 hurdles in 15.4 and the 300 hurdles in 39.27. He teamed with Erving Altamirano, Edwin Sobalvarro, and Octavio Arredondo to win gold at 3:30. He also placed fourth in the 4×100 with Christian Torres, Sobalvarro, and Eli Altamirano. Hammond was an all state football player this fall and a starter on the basketball team.
