Kimberly Vanley is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior bowler Kimberly Vanley is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Vanley was sixth in the WAC this season with an average of 166.48 making her first team all WAC. Her best series of the season was a 606 at Garden City. Vanley made state in her of her first three years in the bowling program. She finished 22nd last year and 38th the year before at state.

Liberal competes at Walnut Bowl Saturday with Great Bend, Buhler, Andale, Cheney, Garden Plain, Holcomb, Little River (boys only), Maize South, McPherson, Newton, and Salina Sacred Heart. The event has been pushed back two hours due to the weather.
