Liberal’s Senior Night is Canceled

Liberal’s seniors will not get the chance to have a winter senior recognition night in basketball. Liberal’s scheduled home game with Dodge City has been canceled. Both school districts canceled school today so consequently, tonight’s game was postponed. KSHSAA dictates that only games completed before 10 a.m. Saturday morning count toward sub state pairing. So although Liberal wanted to play Saturday night, the games couldn’t have helped either teams sub state standing. The Liberal girls play at Newton Wednesday night and the boys will play on the road Thursday against a team to be announced.

Liberal’s powerlifting tournament at Goddard this weekend has been postponed. Liberal’s bowling regional at Great Bend has been pushed back two hours Saturday.
