Garden City Pressed for Success

Garden City used a full court press to force 25 Liberal turnovers in a 59-26 blowout Tuesday night at the Big House. Garden City led 25-12 at halftime. Jai Chapman scored 16 of Liberal’s 26 in the loss. Garden City is 8-1 overall and 3-0 in the WAC while Liberal falls to 3-6 overall and 0-2 in the WAC. Liberal has lost 16 consecutive WAC games. Liberal plays January 17 at 3 p.m. in the Colby Orange and Black Classic against Scott City on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
