Gruver Girls Sizzle in the Second

It was the exact opposite of the Lawton game. Against Lawton Saturday, the Lady Redskins fell behind 20-5 but rallied to win. Tuesday in the Big House, LHS built leads of 22-9 and 24-11 and led 24-15 at the break but Gruver came back to shock the Lady Skins 40-35. Gruver used runs of 14-0 and 16-2 from the second and third quarters to take the lead. Liberal still led 33-27 after three quarters but just struggled on offense and rebounding.

Marisola Regalado scored 11 but all 11 came in the first half. Lyric Robinson added 10. Brennyn Seagler scored 12 and Reagan Haynes added 11. The Lady Hounds are 7-6 and the Lady Skins are 2-3. LHS plays at Perryton Friday night at 6 on Talkradio 1270 and kscbnews.net.
