Samuel Cruz is Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week

Liberal junior soccer player Samuel Cruz is the Mead Lumber Athlete of the Week. Cruz scored five goals last week for the Redskins who host Hays Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Cornelsen Sports Complex. Cruz scored four goals in a 7-2 win over TMP and added Liberal’s goal in a 1-1 tie with Wichta North Saturday. The 3-4-1 Redskins host Hays Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Cornelsen Sports Complex.
