Redskin Coach Ready for Fun Runs

It’s already almost time for Fun Runs in Liberal. The event designed to generate community involvement for LHS athletics begins next week. Fans can run, bike, or drive the path of the Fun Runs which will change each time. The Fun Runs are Monday, July 30, Tuesday, July 31, Thursday, August 2, Monday, August 6, Tuesday, August 7, and Thursday August 9. The Fun Runs begin on the east side of Redskin Field at 7 p.m. other than August 9 which begins at 6:30 with a pep assembly at 7 p.m. at Redskin Field.

To hear Abbott’s comments regarding the Fun Run routes this summer, his thoughts on participation in the weight room with busy baseball and vacation schedules in July, and which Redskins have led the way in Powerhouse Gym this summer.
