Liberal-Garden City North Cup Game Moved to Redskin Field

This time logic prevails. Rather than both Garden City and Liberal driving to Wichita to play each other, the two teams will play at Redskin Field Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. as part of a Wichita tournament. The two teams won first round games Tuesday in the opening round of the Wichita North Cup girls soccer tournament. Liberal beat Sunrise Christian 4-0 and Garden City upended Wichita West 7-0. Liberal is 2-9-1 and Garden City is 6-6.
