Redskin Errors Costly in Colby

Liberal’s defensive miscues were costly at Colby in two losses Thursday afternoon and evening. The Eagles swept the Redskins 5-4 and 10-5.

In game one, the Skins committed two errors and allowed two unearned runs in the sixth to lose 5-4 despite a solid pitching performance from Brent Lenear.

In game two, Colby plated six in the sixth and broke open a close game. The Redskins had five errors leading to seven unearned runs for Colby.

The Skins fall to 2-10 and host Dodge City Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the Liberal Baseball Complex.
