Guymon Blanks Liberal

Guymon blanked Liberal 5-0 Monday evening at the Liberal Baseball Complex for a season sweep. Guymon’s Kyle Caudell held the Redskins to just one hit, a Christian Hernandez double. The Tigers scored two in the first, one in the fourth, and two in the sixth. Liberal’s Collin Ware pitched five and two-thirds solid innings in the loss. The game went six and one-third innings before lightning and rain finished the game short. The Redskins fall to 2-7 while the Tigers improve to 6-11.

Liberal hosts the 13-8 Woodward Boomers for a single game Tuesday night at 5:30 at the Liberal Baseball Complex.
