Poulton Leads Redskins at Guymon Sunset Hills

Liberal competed Friday at Sunset Hills in Guymon in what turned out to be a great day for golf.

LHS head coach Kody Thexton likes what he saw from his senior.

"I was pleased with his performance, he has been working harder at practice and this is just a glimps of what he could do. I am happy with the new guys scores as well. Well are getting very close to a lot of success. "

Liberal placed 5th overall with a 351. Garden City won the tournament with a 322, followed by Lavern 327 then Guymon. Other scores were Calvin Peterson 89, Micheal Begley 90, Blake Stout 93, George Fitzgerald 98 followed by Hunter Sandell with a 105.
Next tournament is the Bob Blazer inv. at Smokey Hill country club at Hays Ks.
