Glanz KJCCC’s Top Pitcher this Week

In the midst of a monster season, it was just a matter
of time before Seward County right-hander Gavin Glanz was named the
KJCCC Pitcher of the Week. After a complete game shutout against the
Hutchinson Blue Dragons on Friday, Glanz has done just that as announced
by the conference on Wednesday. Glanz continued his dominance of the
league on Saturday at Hutchinson, throwing the shutout against the
Dragons, striking out 8 without walking a batter. The complete game win
was the second straight for Glanz and the sophomore has now left the
Seward bullpen with just 2 innings to cover in his past 5 starts,
including 3 nine inning complete game victories.
