Seward Softball Sweeps Lamar

The Seward County Lady Saints pulled out their bats on a
sunny Thursday afternoon at Lady Saints Field this afternoon, taking
down the Lamar Runnin’ Lopes 11-3 in 5 inning run rule wins in back to
back games. In game one, the Lady Saints middle of the order was
deadly as their 2-5 hitters all had multiple hits with Stephanie Mark
blasting 2 home runs and driving in 4. In game two Seward took it a
step further. This time their 2-6 hitters each had two or more hits
with Ashley Kirkes putting up 4 RBI’s on a pair of doubles. The wins
move the Lady Saints to 10-4 on the season.

Seward is 10-4 and plays Ellsworth at 11 Saturday to begin the Pratt

Tournament.
