Red Hot Hutch Women Handle Seward

In easily the most lobsided home loss in recent memory, Seward head coach Toby Wynn didn’t take it lightly. He team met during the entire men’s game last night and then watched more film after the men’s game. Second ranked Hutchinson played like it in an 80-53 win in the Green House Wednesday night. It’s Hutch’s fourth straight win over Seward and second straight win in the Green House.
Seward shot just 27 percent and was 5-25 from three point range while Hutch shot 53 percent. The Lady Dragons led 39-29 at halftime before out-scoring #6 Seward 41-24 in the second half.
Only one Lady Saint scored in double figures. Anete Kirsteine had 14 and was 7-7 at the free throw line. Jackie Patterson led HCC with 20 points and eight rebounds.
Seward will be featured on the Green Line Thursday night at 6 p.m. on Talkradio 1270 live from Billy’s.
Seward hosts Barton Saturday night at 6 p.m. on B107.5. Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites and Crop Production Services are the buyout sponsors.
